Hussain Sagar Lake

Excavated in 1562 A.D by Hussain Shah Wali, son-in-law of 4th king Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah, the lake has a promenade that is a busy thoroughfare today. Boating and water sports are regular feature in the Hussainsagar. One of the Worlds tallest monolithic statues of Buddha stands on the "Rock of Gilbraltar" in the middle of the lake. there is also facility for boating and cruise facilities here..
